THE SHOP
Simply Steph Ko is a calligraphy and design studio. My greeting cards and prints feature modern calligraphy, and are my way to share love and encouragement.

THE PURPOSE
More and more people communicate via Facebook, text, and email nowadays. I want to showcase the beauty and the joy in handmade and in handwritten messages, which is made extra special in today's go-go-go society.

I hope that you can see the simplicity and beauty in my calligraphy and stationery goods, and inspire you to incorporate handwritten messages into your everyday life. I promise you that others will notice.

THE PROCESS
Every card and print in the shop is designed by hand by Stephanie (that's me!). I hand paint and hand letter each design using calligraphy and watercolour painting techniques. I then patiently digitize each card and print. This means that I scan in the image, and make sure the lines are clean, and the colours are right before turning the design into the card that you see in your hands. Every card is designed, produced, and packaged with love by me in my humble home in Ottawa, Canada.

THE STORY
I started creating cards because I could never find the cards that I wanted to send, in stores. So if you are looking for genuine, encouraging, heartfelt greetings, look no further. I saw a gap, and I aim to fill it.

I also want to share my Christian faith, and connect with other Christians. The Christian greeting cards that I could find in stores are very generic (translation: blah), and I wanted cards that express something more meaningful. And I know that you relate. So I try to infuse my faith into many different aspects of my work, from working with a diligent and humble attitude to the message on the final product you see in your hands.
